FPT ranked in the top 10 for the 7th time in a row at Vietnam Gold Star Award

FPT Joint Stock Company was honored to be in the Top 10 at the Vietnam Gold Star Award Ceremony 2021 on March 30, 2022. This is FPT's seventh consecutive win of this coveted award. 

The Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association established a voting program for the Vietnam Gold Star Award 2021 that incorporated numerous improvements in its execution and voting process in response to the Covid-19 outbreak issue. Over 40 appraisal teams comprised of executives of reputable businesses, specialists in the industry, accounting, KPMG, and representatives of the press and television agencies... visited organizations personally to assess and vote. FPT was one of the Top 10 awarded enterprises out of 294 nominated businesses.

Apart from FPT, the Top 10 brands include Viettel Post; Sacombank; Vinaconex; Viet Tien; Minh Phu Seafood Corp; ATAD; Thien Long; Hung Thinh; and KSB – BIMICO. In 2021, the top ten Vietnamese Gold Stars generated more than 554,000 billion VND in income, provided more than 9,000 billion VND to the state budget, and employed more than 107,000 people. 

Since its inception in 2003, Vietnam Gold Star Award has been a significant 19-year partner of the Vietnamese business community in branding and international economic integration. Following their voting and recognition, branded firms have developed rapidly, providing several good contributions to the community and society. Numerous Vietnamese enterprises, brands, and products recognized by the Vietnam Gold Star Award have risen to prominence in regional and global rankings, establishing themselves as prominent and leading businesses in the Vietnamese economy. 

Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Member of the Politburo, Head of the Central Economic Commission - highlighted that the Vietnam Gold Star Award had reflected the courageous efforts of entrepreneurs and enterprises. By reaffirming their position, prestige, and trust among domestic and international partners and consumers, Vietnamese people contribute actively to the country's process of innovation, integration, and economic progress. 

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director of FPT, "being honored at the Vietnam Gold Star Award is a source of pride and a token of appreciation for the efforts of all FPT employees." This also serves as a roadmap for FPT to continue developing and fulfilling the objective of a pioneering technology company by adding value to the nation, the business community, and the general public. 

After two years of extraordinary oscillations caused by Covid-19 waves, FPT has proved the determination and capacity of Vietnam's No. 1 Technology Group by taking game-changing chances, always standing alongside and cooperating with the government, local authorities, and enterprises to overcome obstacles through technical solutions, thereby contributing to the economy's development. 

Due to the Group's razor-sharp development plan for coping with and overcoming the crisis, revenue and profit will expand by 19.5 percent and 20.4 percent, respectively, in 2021 compared to 2020. Despite these obstacles, FPT has strengthened its global position by outperforming other well-known technology businesses by winning a succession of significant contracts, including 19 projects valued at more than 5 million USD each project, an increase of 111 percent. Numerous FPT solutions and services have been recognized globally, such as akaBot... 

Not only that, FPT has proactively packaged, shared, and supplied digital technology solutions to assist the business community in promtly identifying the key to solving management and business difficulties, then proactively seizing development prospects. 

FPT, in particular, has "created" FPT eCovax - a technological vaccination designed to boost an enterprise's resistance to a pandemic. Over 3,000 organizations of various sizes and locations have accessed and used FPT eCovax solutions for free after more than four months of implementation. This is the sharing and realization of technology firms' mission to advance the digital economy and serve the nation.

 FPT collaborates with provinces and towns to battle the epidemic and advise on socio-economic development initiatives and digital transformation. In 2021, FPT will facilitate meetings with superior leaders from over 40 provinces, establish digital transformation cooperation agreements with 14 provinces and cities, and train almost 20,000 officials to alter public perceptions of digital transformation. 

FPT will continue developing new platforms, advocating for the allied Vietnamese business community in the framework of a green normal, accelerating the transition to a digital operating model, and contributing to quicker growth in the following years.
