FPT University honoured with a Certificate of Merit from the PM
Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam made his visit to the campus of FPT University located at Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, Thach That District, Hanoi, on February 13. On the occasion, FPT University was honoured with a Certificate of Merit from the PM for its achievements in innovating training for high-quality human resources.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Pham Dai Duong, staff and students of FPT University.

Founded in 2006, FPT University has always been a pioneer in applying new training methods, providing high-quality human resources, especially in the field of IT, making significant contribution to meeting the HR need for the digital revolution.
FPT University has trained around 20,000 students, including nearly 12,000 full-time students for more than 10 years. It has contributed to providing the skilled workforce for local and international technology enterprises.
FPT University students have gained a series of achievements and awards in the local and international competitions such as ACM/ICPC, OLP’, prizes for the Brightest Female Student in Information Technology, etc.
98% of FPT’s graduates get jobs within 12 months after their graduation. 15% of them are studying and working abroad.
According to the recalibration of QS, FPT University attained 5 stars – the highest level of star ranking for 4 criteria Teaching, Employability, Facilities and Social Responsibility. This was the first university in Vietnam to reach 3 stars quality standard.
With the desire to bring Vietnamese technology to the world level and the “Go Global” spirit, FPT University has 58 partners in 23 countries worldwide. FPT University became the official partner of Boston College (USA) in charge of translating and publishing the International Higher Education Journal in Vietnamese language in 2016.
FE aims to become the education group with “5 Multi”: Multi-level, multi-sector, multi-segment, multi-modal and multi-location with 100,000 students, of which foreign students accounting for 15% by 2020.
