FPT And Two of Its Subsidiaries To Be Awarded The Most Prestigious Technology Brands

Vietnam Report JSC. (Vietnam Report) announced the Top 10 information technology (IT) & telecommunications businesses and the most famous technology companies providing software solutions and system integration services in 2022.

Accordingly, FPT ranked second in the Top 10 leading IT & telecommunications enterprises in 2022. In addition, two subsidiaries, FPT Software and FPT IS, were No. 1 and No. 3 in the Top 10 technology brands delivering software solutions and system integration services.

According to Vietnam Report, the prominence of tech firms was assessed objectively and independently, based on their financial power, media reputation (which used the Media coding method to measure), and the surveys of research subjects and stakeholders carried out in June 2022.

As per survey results, all businesses and industry experts believed in the joyous prospect of the last six months of 2022. Specifically, 61.1% thought the ICT industry would thrive.

Compared with previous surveys conducted by Vietnam Report, it could be seen that the industry's growth expectations were increasing rapidly. The results reflected the extensive and comprehensive digital transformation journey to reach every corner of Vietnam's socio-economic life.

Moreover, the Government's efforts and determination in promoting "the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025 with a vision to 2030" was also considered a substantial driving force for industry development in the coming period.

The Vietnam Report's survey with businesses and technology professionals in June 2022 also showed that the Top 5 priority strategies in the digital transformation of technology enterprises included: (i) Strengthening a high-quality workforce (88.3%), (ii) Improving competitiveness compared to other competitors (88.3%), (iii) Enhancing R&D activities (77.8%), (iv) Raising the media reputation and brand image (55.6%) and (v) Boosting the quality of customer care services (61.1%)…

The report also confirmed that technology enterprises focused on core and foundation technologies for digital transformation. Based on the results, the top leading trends in the "next normal" were: Cloud-based services (Cloud computing), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), 5G Technology, Fixed Broadband Internet Market, and Blockchain.
