Ho Chi Minh City - On September 15, 2022, FPT was honored in two categories of the Voting program for Listed companies with the best Investor Relations activities in 2022 (IR Awards 2022). Specifically, FPT was named in the Top 3 Large-caps with investors' most favored IR activities and Top 3 Large-caps with financial institutions' most appreciated IR activities.

IR Awards 2022 surveyed and evaluated 736 listed enterprises to raise awareness and importance of IR activities, improve information transparency in the stock market, and increase the quality of information disclosure and investor confidence.

Businesses must go through two rounds: the Comprehensive survey on Information disclosure within 12 months and the IR Public Vote & IR Review for professional financial institutions. In order to be nominated for IR Vote, 45 enterprises must exceed the criteria of information disclosure standards, stock liquidity, attraction for foreign investors, financial transparency, corporate governance... Then they were voted by 31 leading financial institutions and public investors. The top 3 best-listed enterprises will be selected from the large-cap, mid-cap, and small-and-super-small-cap groups.

According to the Organizers, winning the IR Awards 2022 was a milestone confirming the business's excellent governance and incredibly effective IR activities.

Over the past three decades, FPT has consistently demonstrated its industry-leading position with the ability to manage risk and seize breakthrough opportunities. The Corporation always keeps complete, transparent, accurate, and timely information disclosure as prescribed by law. All stakeholders can easily access all information that needs to be published following regulations and other beneficial information on FPT's website and mass media. In addition, FPT also proactively provides helpful information, from IT market trends and macro/micro-economic factors affecting the industry to the strategic orientations, plans, and business results of the Corporation, to help investors better understand the ICT sector and FPT's operations. Monthly and quarterly business results reports or information on business orientation and strategy are also delivered to shareholders and investors through mass media or periodic meetings, in-depth seminars, etc.

With the increasing improvement of governance in accordance with international standards and transparency in the company's activities, FPT continues to win the goodwill and appreciation from domestic and foreign investors. FPT stock has always received significant attention due to its strong growth potential and high stock liquidity. In 2021, FPT had an average trading volume of 2.4 million shares per session, with the transaction value doubled compared to 2020 at VND 52.5 trillion. The share of foreign ownership in FPT is always at the 49% ceiling.

According to the Sustainable Development assessment results by HoSE, FPT always scores a maximum of 100% on ensuring the role of stakeholders and information disclosure and transparency. Regarding ensuring shareholders' rights, HoSE's evaluation also affirmed that the Corporation performs well the shareholders' rights and has reliable statistics and reports, with a total rating of 89%. In 2022, the FPT AGM approved the expected dividend payment rate of 40%, of which 20% in cash and 20% in shares. With 1,097 billion shares outstanding, FPT spent approximately VND 1,100 billion to pay the first advance dividend in 2022 in cash at a rate of 10% (corresponding to 1,000 VND/share) on September 12. Earlier in June, the Corporation also issued more than 182.8 million shares for dividend in 2021, corresponding to a rights exercise rate of 20%.

In 2022, FPT set a plan with revenue growth of 19%, reaching VND 42,420 billion, and PBT increased 20.2% to VND 7,618 billion. At the end of the first seven months, its revenue and PBT reached VND 23,219 billion and VND 4,242 billion, growing by 22.2% and 23.7%, respectively, compared to the same period.

IR activities of enterprises are evaluated through the system of criteria specified by the Voting Council for the requirements of effective financial communication, good reputation in the capital market, and good management of the stock market's expectations. Members of the Voting Council are reputable academics, experts, and financial institutions, including securities companies and domestic & international asset management firms in the stock market.

With the requirement of effective financial communication, the firm must ensure transparent and practical financial information, create a broad understanding of the value and prospects of enterprises, and have groups of investors that strongly support it.

With the requirement of a good reputation in the capital market, the firm needs to create an excellent financial prestige, from the management capacity and credibility of the BOD and the BOM to the reliability of financial data and other disclosure documents.

Regarding the requirement of good management of the stock market's expectations, the firm's IR activities should help optimize brand equity, matching market pricing to the intrinsic value of enterprises and making stock liquidity more reasonable.
