FPT accompanied Nam Dinh towards one of the top 20 provinces leading in digital transformation nationwide

On August 2, 2022, the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province and FPT Corporation signed a cooperation agreement to promote digital transformation closely associated with administration reform. The agreement also mentioned developing e-government towards the digital government, digital economy, digital society, and smart city model for Nam Dinh province. In conclusion, the partnership contract aimed to make Nam Dinh among the top 20 nationwide digital transformation areas and fundamentally complete digital transformation and smart city construction by 2030.

FPT accompanied Nam Dinh towards one of the top 20 provinces leading in digital transformation nationwide On August 2, 2022, the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province and FPT Corporation signed a cooperation agreement to promote digital transformation closely associated with administration reform. The agreement also mentioned developing e-government towards the digital government, digital economy, digital society, and smart city model for Nam Dinh province. In conclusion, the partnership contract aimed to make Nam Dinh among the top 20 nationwide digital transformation areas and fundamentally complete digital transformation and smart city construction by 2030. Attending the event was Mr. Tran Le Doai - Vice Chairman of the Nam Dinh People's Committee; representatives of provincial departments, branches, and agencies. The event also had Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - CEO of FPT - and other representatives of FPT's subsidiaries.  According to the agreement, FPT would accompany Nam Dinh province to develop documents, action programs, and schemes of digital transformation following the provincial situation. At the same time, FPT would support Nam Dinh to finish building digital infrastructure and platforms and develop data platforms to meet digital transformation requirements. Furthermore, the Corporation would help construct e-government towards digital government; implement new digital apps and services to support Nam Dinh soon developing e-Government and moving towards the digital government. The two parties would also consider piloting the implementation of digital transformation, perfecting the digital government for one urban area in the province, and gradually aiming to complete the smart city model under the actual situation of the region and both sides' resources. Concurrently, the Corporation would also design technology solutions to digitally transform several key sectors and areas, such as tourism, trade, industry, agriculture, transport, logistics, etc.,  to promote the province's digital economy growth. In order to create digital habits and culture in the community, the two parties would also collaborate to create an ecosystem of digital technology apps to provide essential, intelligent, and easy-to-use digital products and services for people, especially core services in education, health care, online training to increase digital skills for people.  Based on the contract, Nam Dinh and FPT would also consider investing in the education system from high school to college and forming a university to provide human resource training services in information technology and cyber security. Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Le Doai - Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh People's Committee - expressed the desire that FPT would help the province implement comprehensive solutions based on its leading technology capabilities. By that means, the companionship would accelerate the province's digital transformation toward a digital government, digital economy, digital society, smart city, and higher quality of life for local communities. He also emphasized that the province committed to prioritizing resources, facilitating, and being well-prepared to experiment with new products and technological solutions so that FPT could implement the cooperation content effectively and smoothly.
