FPT Corporation Appointed Senior Leaders in charge of the Telecommunications and Education sectors

On April 25, 2023, the subsidiaries of FPT Corporation in the Telecommunications and Education sectors announced their appointment decisions of new high-level leaders. Accordingly, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien would step down from his position as the Chairman of FPT Telecom and assume the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPT University. At the same time, the BOD of FPT Telecom also appointed Mr. Hoang Viet Anh, former CEO of FPT Telecom, as the new Chairman, and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh, former Deputy CEO, as the new CEO of FPT Telecom. The Planning, Appointing, and Rotating high-level leaders program is expected to motivate corporate leaders and contribute to composing more development steps for business units in the future.

Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, former Chairman of FPT Telecom, was appointed the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of FPT University. After a 3-year term as Chairman of the BOD of FPT Telecom, Mr. Tien led his team to overcome the challenges of the Covid pandemic. As a leader with various bold ideas, he made many contributions to career orientation and support for younger generations within and outside the FPT Education system. He's even an influencer in the media. Along with the experienced leadership team of FPT Education, he is expected to help the education system make significant steps forward in the future.

The new Chairman of FPT Telecom, Mr. Hoang Viet Anh, is well-known for his management skills and strong team cohesion. He has been with FPT Telecom for over five years as CEO and has contributed significantly to the company's growth in 2018-2023. Mr. Viet Anh led FPT Telecom to continuously be voted as the Best Fixed Internet Service Provider in Vietnam (IDG) and to have its infrastructure and telecommunications covering all 63 provinces and cities, leading in television technology and copyright content provision. He also holds the position of Deputy CEO of FPT Corporation, who is in charge of Digital Transformation, and Chairman of FPT Digital Consulting.

Meanwhile, the new CEO of FPT Telecom, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh, has extensive operational experience and a deep understanding of business operations. Mr. Linh has been with FPT Telecom for over 15 years, holding various management positions in finance and television. Recently, he was in charge of managing the entire customer business unit and customer service division of FPT Telecom.
