In the first 7 Months of the Year, FPT's Profit before Tax increased by 23.7%

According to the latest report, in the first seven months of the year, the Corporation's revenue reached VND 23,219 billion, profit before tax (PBT) of VND 4,242 billion, at 22.2% and 23.7%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. After-tax profit for the parent company was VND 2,906 billion, at 30.1%, and EPS reached VND 2,659.

In July alone, FPT recorded VND 3,390 billion in revenue, VND 605 billion in PBT, and VND 416 in profit after tax from the parent company shareholders.

In 2022, FPT aims at VND 42,420 billion in revenue and 7,618 billion in PBT. Thus, after seven months, FPT has achieved nearly 55% of the revenue target and 56% of the PBT target for the year.

In the first seven months, the technology sector made the most considerable contribution to the revenue and profit structure, with 57% and 45%, respectively.

Revenue of Technology Sector amounted to VND13,259 billion, and profit before tax of Technology Sector was VND1,923 billion, equivalent to 22.1% and 25.4%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. In particular, the growth rate of digital transformation services reached 50%, of which revenue from cloud services was nearly twice as much as in the same period, accounting for (87%) of the total income of digital transformation services.

Global IT Services segment continues to see solid revenue growth of 29.1% YoY, reaching VND 10,156 billion, fueled by the outstanding performance from the US market (up by 43%) and APAC (up by 62%). The Japan market saw rapid recovery with the JPY-based revenue growth of 20.2%

Reportedly, the volume of new deals overseas witnessed a remarkable increase at VND13,762 billion, equal to 43.2%.
