FPT Featured On Globalive Media’s Technology Series “Beyond Innovation” On Bloomberg Television

HANOI, January 31, 2023 – Vietnam's leading technology group FPT participated in “Beyond Innovation” Season 3, the leading technology series airing on Bloomberg Television (Bloomberg TV). Hosted by Venture Capitalist Anthony Lacavera and Experienced Tech Journalist Michael Bancroft, the series discover new technologies and entrepreneurs transforming our lives for the better.

Season three of "Beyond Innovation" travels to top and developing tech destinations such as Tel Aviv, London, Singapore, Hanoi, Halifax, New York and Lisbon. The project in Vietnam featured notable guests such as FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh; FPT Software Chairwoman Chu Thi Thanh Ha; Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications, Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung; Vietnam Ministry of Planning & Investment, Director of National Innovation Center Vu Quoc Huy; Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam CEO Michele Wee; Schaeffler Vietnam CEO Nguyen Xuan Thang; Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) Professor Emeritus Ho Tu Bao.

In four half-hour episodes, host Anthony Lacavera interviewed the guests to learn more about Vietnam’s digital landscape and its potential to become one of the world’s top digital nations. The topics include Vietnam - From late internet adopter to aspiring digital nation; The future of digital health in Vietnam; Vietnam – Southeast Asia’s emerging IT hub; The future of IT workforce development in Vietnam.

In his episode, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh emphasized the importance of FPT’s mission to serve Vietnam. “We would like to make the technology to innovate our country, and we have done so ever since,” he added. 

"Beyond Innovation” is independently produced by Globalive Media and reached more than 437-million households across more than 70 countries on Bloomberg TV. The show has aired on Bell Media TV networks in Canada and streamed on Infobase to more than 1,550 universities and colleges globally. Several airlines have picked up episodes of "Beyond Innovation" including United Airlines, Air Canada, Air France, Delta, WestJet, Saudia, Middle East Airlines, Kenya Airways, Japan Airlines and Royal Air Maroc. 

The third season of "Beyond Innovation" is broadcasted worldwide on Bloomberg TV every Saturday at 5 p.m. EDT, 10 p.m. BST, Sunday at 2p.m. HKT. The series will be available online in March 2023.
