FPT ranked in the Top 10 Innovative and Efficient Businesses for 2023

FPT Corporation was one of the leading ten companies in the Top 50 Innovative and Efficient Businesses in Vietnam for 2023, as voted by Investment Newspaper in collaboration with Viet Research.

In the top 10, FPT was one of three enterprises recognized in the Telecommunications - Information - Communications field. According to the Organizing Committee, FPT has demonstrated business efficiency and innovation capabilities in its operations, especially during difficult market conditions. At the same time, FPT has shown a strong spirit, strategy, and culture of innovation and creativity with increasingly diverse innovative initiatives.

As of the end of 2022, FPT recorded revenue of 44,010 billion VND and profit before tax of 7,662 billion VND, up 23.4% and 20.9%, respectively, over 2021. The results have achieved 104% of revenue and 100% of profit goals set by the 2022 AGM.

In the first two months of 2023, FPT's revenue reached 7,295 billion VND, and pre-tax profit reached 1,312 billion VND, increasing by 19.6% and 19% compared to the same period last year. Excluding the expenses, FPT's after-tax profit for two months was 1,114 billion VND, an increase of about 17% compared to the same period in 2022. In its 2023 business plan, FPT had set a revenue target of 52,289 billion VND and a pre-tax profit of 9,055 billion VND, increasing by 18.8% and 18.2% compared to 2022.

Being named in the Top 10 Most Innovative and Efficient Businesses in Vietnam in 2023, FPT also asserted its position as a leading enterprise with prestigious awards both domestically and internationally last year, such as Asia's Outstanding Companies Poll 2022, Top 3 most investor-relations (IR) friendly companies, Top 3 companies with the best-rated IR by financial institutions, Top 10 excellent brands, Top 15 enterprises with good financial management capacity, and more.

The list of the Top 50 Most Innovative and Efficient Businesses in Vietnam in 2023 (VIE50) was announced by the Investment newspaper in collaboration with Viet Research as part of a nationwide program researching innovation and reform. The list includes businesses that apply innovative and reformative methods in their production and business activities, achieve efficient business results, and have the potential for good growth.

The criteria of business efficiency and innovation achievements are the main factors for evaluating and selecting companies in the Top 50 Innovative and Efficient Businesses in Vietnam 2023 (VIE50) list. The list is fully published on the website: https://vie50.vn.

Regarding the industry structure, VIE50 companies are based on five primary industries: Processing and Manufacturing; Technology-Telecommunications; Banking-Finance; Healthcare; and Logistics, with corresponding proportions of 28.0%, 14.0%, 12.0%, 10.0%, and 8.0%. These are also the top 5 industries that drive innovation, creativity, and business efficiency due to their innovation and creativity, international integration, competitive pressure within the industry, and increased investment in technology and the workforce in the new economy.
