FPT’s new branding announced

Ho Chi Minh City, 20 September- Hanoi, 22 September- The FPT Group announced its new brand identity, coming up with the slogan “Energizing Life” and redesigned logo that was modified to be more modern, more dynamic and friendlier. Accordingly, the core value of the FPT brand is that FPT helps energize its clients, partners, enterprises and consumers through smart IT solutions. This is the first time in 22 years of development FPT has changed its brand identity.

The new brand strategy will facilitate the FPT’s development path towards “e-Citizen”. On the foundation of information technology and telecommunication, FPT will combine the strength of all member companies to provide the mass market with products and services of high quality at reasonable cost, meeting the all the basic demands of an “e-Citizen”.

Consumer will see a clearer image of one FPT displayed in a diversity of products and services provided by its member companies and associates. A common FPT label will be the quality commitment for all of the company’s technology products and services. FPT’s member companies will focus on product development without concerning building their own brands. The planning and changing of the brand identity aim at bringing the unified, friendly, and reliable image of FPT closer to the public, being more suitable with the company’s strategy towards mass market.

Delivering a speech at the brand launching ceremony, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh said: “The introduction of FPT’s new brand identity system has become a turning point in the development of FPT. The new brand symbolizes a consolidated FPT with great devotion to customers and quality commitment of the Group to consumers. From this very first step, we will try our best to maintain FPT image in the public’s heart and soon become a strong Vietnamese brand in the international market”.

The new FPT brand identity system comprises a redesigned logo and supplementary signs applied on products. This is the result of the professional study and cooperation between FPT and the world fourth largest communication group- JWT.

In parallel with introducing the new logo, FPT also categorizes the logos of member companies into two groups. The ITC subsidiaries will use the complete logo with three colors and the F-P-T character set while the non- ITC ones can only inherit the three- color sign of FPT. This represents FPT’s concentration on information technology and telecommunication as core business strengths.
