Top 50 is a chart that evaluates the business performance of Vietnam's leading firms. Simultaneously, it accurately represents the current status of the Vietnamese economy, which is becoming increasingly dynamic. This is expected of the private economy's intrinsic strength, which will aid the economy in overcoming future obstacles.

The Top 50 ranking is generated by analyzing companies' business results over three years using three growth indicators: revenue, return on equity (ROE) and return on share. The measurement results aim to assess the corporate governance capacity of the enterprise objectively. FPT ended the quarter with a return on equity of 21.1 percent and a market value of USD 2.7 billion.

Mr. Do Nhat Thanh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine, stated during the ceremony: "The Covid-19 outbreak resulted in the economy contracting to its lowest level in 30 years." However, corporations have demonstrated the importance of being flexible. This is critical for adapting to a new circumstance and assisting the economy's steady recovery. Profit after tax for the top 50 companies totaled 174,510 billion VND, up 25.5 percent from the previous year. The ranking demonstrates the business sector's power significantly in difficulties as not only are the stakes enormous, but many enterprises also pioneer new services and technologies."
